Terms Of Service

Draft for UK legal review — not yet approved or effective. This working document must be completed with DogFieldHQ’s legal entity details and approved by qualified UK counsel before it is relied on or published as final terms.

Draft date: 30 July 2026. “DogFieldHQ”, “we”, “us” and “our” mean [insert full legal entity name, company number and registered office]. Support contact: [insert support email/address].

1. The marketplace

DogFieldHQ provides an online marketplace through which customers can discover and book private dog-field sessions offered by independent field operators. Unless clearly stated otherwise, the operator — not DogFieldHQ — provides the field session and is responsible for its listing, access, suitability, site rules, safety information and performance.

2. Accounts and acceptable use

You must provide accurate information, keep account credentials secure and use the platform lawfully. You must not interfere with the service, submit misleading content, bypass booking or payment controls, or use another person’s data without authority. We may restrict access where reasonably necessary for security, safety, suspected misuse or legal compliance.

3. Customer bookings

Before booking, customers should read the operator’s listing, field rules, access instructions, suitability information, price and cancellation terms. A booking is subject to availability and any confirmation shown by the platform or operator. Customers are responsible for their dogs, accompanying people and compliance with operator rules while using a field.

4. Operators

Operators must have authority to offer each listing; provide truthful, current information; maintain appropriate insurance, permissions and safety arrangements; honour confirmed bookings; and handle customer information only as permitted by applicable law and the agreed data arrangements. DogFieldHQ may review, suspend or remove a listing or operator account where reasonably required for marketplace integrity, safety, payment or legal reasons.

5. Payment, fees, cancellations and refunds

Payments may be processed through Stripe Connect or another stated payment provider. The price, operator charges and any platform or booking fees shown before payment are the amounts payable for that booking. Cancellation and refund eligibility must be displayed clearly for each listing before checkout. The business must approve the final allocation of cancellation, refund, chargeback and payment-processing responsibilities before these terms are finalised.

6. Complaints and support

Contact the operator first for access, local rules, suitability and service issues. Contact DogFieldHQ at [insert support contact] for account, platform or payment-flow issues. Nothing in these draft terms removes statutory consumer rights.

7. Liability and legal terms

The final terms must contain counsel-approved provisions on liability, consumer rights, indemnities, force majeure, governing law, jurisdiction, changes and termination. Any final consumer terms must be fair, transparent and consistent with applicable UK law. These draft terms are intended for users in the United Kingdom; final governing-law and jurisdiction wording is a legal-policy decision.

8. Privacy
