How can we help?
Search practical answers for dog owners and field owners.
Access and visits
Where do I find arrival instructions?
Open your booking and review the location's arrival guidance. Operators can provide parking, access and practical visit information.
Read and share this answerWhere do I find the gate or padlock code?
Check the arrival instructions attached to your booking. If no current code is shown, contact the field operator rather than guessing or using an old code.
Read and share this answerCan I arrive early?
Do not enter before your booked start time unless the operator explicitly permits it. Turnaround buffers and adjacent sessions help keep visits separate.
Read and share this answerWhat if I am running late?
Your end time normally stays unchanged, because another customer may follow. Contact the operator if lateness creates an access or safety issue.
Read and share this answerWhy must I leave by the end time?
Leaving on time protects the next booking and any turnaround period set by the operator. Follow the field's exit instructions.
Read and share this answerWhat should I do if I cannot access the field?
Check the booking's arrival instructions and contact the field operator using the listed details. Use DogFieldHQ support for a platform problem, not an urgent on-site emergency.
Read and share this answerAre water, bins, toilets or parking provided?
Facilities vary. Check the location and field listing before travelling and ask the operator if an essential facility is not clearly stated.

Use Customer Sign In from the footer or booking area. Operator accounts use a separate sign-in journey.
Read and share this answerWhat if I forgot my password?
Use the password reset link on the customer sign-in page and follow the instructions sent to your account email.
Read and share this answerHow do I update my profile?
Sign in, open your customer profile and edit the available account details. Keep them accurate so operators can manage your bookings.
Read and share this answerWhere can I see past and upcoming bookings?
Open My Bookings while signed in. Your bookings are linked to the customer account used when they were created.
Read and share this answerCan I delete my customer account?
Account controls are available from your customer profile. Some booking and payment records may need to be retained for legal or operational reasons; see the privacy policy.
Read and share this answerHow are marketing preferences used?
Customer preferences record whether relevant marketing journeys may be sent. Operators should respect those preferences and applicable data-protection rules.

How do I make a booking?
Choose a live location, select a field, date, duration and available start time, add or select your dogs, then complete the booking and any required payment.
Read and share this answerDo I need an account to book?
Yes. Customer details and dogs are attached to your booking so you can return to your bookings and the operator has the information needed for the visit.
Read and share this answerWhy are some times unavailable?
A time can be blocked by another booking, a closure, weekly opening hours, turnaround buffers, minimum notice or the field's advance-booking limit.
Read and share this answerWhich booking durations can I choose?
Each field chooses the session lengths it offers and the price for each length. The booking form shows only durations enabled for that field.
Read and share this answerHow far in advance can I book?
The operator sets how far ahead bookings open. Dates outside that window will not show as available.
Read and share this answerCan I book at the last minute?
Possibly. Each location can require minimum notice before a session, so a free-looking time may be too close to book online.
Read and share this answerCan I book more than one session?
Yes, but sessions are currently booked separately. Complete one booking, then return to the field to choose another available time.
Read and share this answerHow do I know my booking is confirmed?
Your booking page shows its current status. A paid online booking is confirmed after DogFieldHQ receives successful payment confirmation.
Read and share this answerWhy is my booking not in My Bookings?
Make sure you are signed in with the same customer account used to book. A checkout that was not completed may remain unpaid or expire rather than becoming a confirmed visit.
Read and share this answerWhat happens if someone else selects the same time?
DogFieldHQ checks availability when a booking is created and protects active slots from overlapping bookings. If the slot has just gone, choose another time.

How do I cancel a booking?
Open the future booking in My Bookings and submit a cancellation request. The field operator reviews the request; submitting it does not itself guarantee cancellation or a refund.
Read and share this answerWhat is the cancellation policy?
Cancellation and refund decisions are made by the field operator. Review the field's terms or contact the operator before booking if you need clarification.
Read and share this answerWhy is my cancellation request pending?
The field operator has not yet approved or declined it. Your booking remains in its current state until the operator acts.
Read and share this answerWhat if my cancellation request is declined?
Contact the field operator for the reason and to discuss their policy. DogFieldHQ records the operator's decision but does not invent a universal cancellation policy.
Read and share this answerHow long does a refund take?
Once the operator issues a Stripe refund, bank processing times can vary. Check your booking's payment information and contact the operator if it remains outstanding.
Read and share this answerCan I receive a partial refund?
DogFieldHQ supports operator-issued full or partial refunds where a refundable Stripe payment exists. Eligibility and amount are the operator's decision.
Read and share this answerWhat happens if the field cancels my booking?
The operator should tell you what happens next and whether a refund or alternative session is offered. Contact them using the details on the location or booking.

A field can publish excluded-breed settings. Check the field details and contact the operator if your dog's breed or circumstances need clarification.

How do I pay for a booking?
When online payment is required, DogFieldHQ sends you to the secure Stripe checkout step and returns you to the booking after payment.
Read and share this answerAre my card details stored by DogFieldHQ?
Card entry and processing are handled by Stripe. Do not send card details to DogFieldHQ or a field operator by email or feedback forms.

Read and share this answerHow do I use a discount code?
Enter a valid code in the booking flow when the field offers one. The booking summary shows the discount before payment.
Read and share this answerWhy is my discount code not working?
The code may be inactive, outside its valid dates, restricted or entered incorrectly. Check the code and contact the field operator if it was supplied by them.

Payment confirmation can take a short time to return from Stripe. Keep the booking page open while it checks; do not create a second booking unless the first has failed or expired.
Read and share this answerWhat should I do if payment fails?
Check the message from Stripe and retry with valid payment details. If the booking hold expires, return to the field and select an available time again.

What happens in bad weather?
Weather decisions and field conditions are managed by the operator. Check messages and your booking, and contact the operator if you are unsure whether to travel.
Read and share this answerHow do closures affect availability?
Operators can close a field for a date or time range. Closed periods are removed from available booking slots.
Read and share this answerWill I be refunded because of weather?
Weather refund policies vary by operator. Contact the field directly; a cancellation does not automatically promise a refund.

They can. Operators control weekly availability and can apply date-specific changes or closures, so rely on the live times shown when booking.
